Overview

In 2005, a race of alien machines called Zonders emerges from underground, launching attacks on Tokyo. The only defense is the magnificent giant robot GaoGaiGar and its pilot, Guy Shishioh, who fights as part of the secret defense organization GGG to protect humanity's future.
