Pro Golfer Saru

Overview

Sarumaru Sarutani, a wild boy who looks exactly like a monkey and lives in the countryside with his mother and five siblings, is a self-proclaimed "Pro Golfer" who uses a homemade driver carved from a tree root and spends his days hustling amateurs at the local golf course. One day, his golf technique catches the eye of Mr. X, the boss of the shadow golf world. Trying to bring Sarumaru under his command, Mr. X sends a steady stream of eccentric assassins to challenge him in duels. Sarumaru, however, fends off every challenge with skill and wit — and, every so often, with sheer luck on his side.
