KanColle: See You Again on Another Quiet Blue Sea

Overview

The Fleet Girls, or "Kanmusu"—girls who carry within them the souls of warships from days gone by. As the only ones able to stand against the otherworldly enemy known as the "Abyssal Fleet" that rises up from the bottom of the sea, they throw themselves into battle to protect the people and the seas. Yet before the overwhelming numbers of the Abyssal Fleet, they are wounded, or fall, and the tide of war steadily turns against them. Amid all this, the destroyer Shigure is assigned to a new fleet. The new fleet she joins is the "First Striking Force," its "Third Division" (1YB3H). But it is a ragtag outfit of sorts—made up of the old battleships Yamashiro and Fusou that had been kept in the rear, the lone aviation cruiser Mogami, and four destroyers. As one wing of an operation that stakes everything on a desperate turnaround with all remaining forces, Shigure and the rest of 1YB3H set out for the strait of destiny on a mission that looks almost like serving as a decoy to support the main force. In the ever-intensifying battle, what awaits them is——.
