Synopsis

The world chess championship is being held in Las Vegas. Funaki, Akechi's friend and a title favorite, is murdered by a competitor named Goldman. Goldman tries to fake innocence with an alibi trick, but deceiving Akechi is impossible. Competing in the tournament himself, Akechi faces Goldman in the semifinals while masterfully unraveling the case.
