Rie Tanaka

Rie Tanaka is a Japanese voice actress and singer born on January 3, 1979. As an elementary school student she belonged to the book club and enjoyed staging picture-story shows for younger pupils; hearing the drama CD CD Theater Dragon Quest, whose cover art was drawn by her favorite illustrator Mutsumi Inomata, is what turned her toward voice acting. She joined her high school's manga research club and, after graduating, moved to Tokyo to study at Yoyogi Animation Academy. Her anime roles include Lacus Clyne in Mobile Suit Gundam Seed, Chi in Chobits, and Suigintou in Rozen Maiden, while her game work spans Neptune in Hyperdimension Neptunia, Mitsuru Kirijo in Persona 3, and Lisa Minci in Genshin Impact. She also sings for the Swedish-Japanese heavy metal band Uz:ME.
