Natsumi Murakami

Natsumi Murakami is a Japanese voice actress born on 7 September 1995 in Tokyo and associated with Yurin Pro. Her interest in the profession began with a junior high English class reading of Alice in Wonderland, when classmates praised the voice she gave Alice, and it deepened after she saw Mamoru Miyano's performance in Death Note. Unable to work part-time or afford lessons as a student, she concentrated on schoolwork first, then sampled classes at several vocational and training schools before enrolling in Keiko Yokozawa's school to learn the fundamentals. She debuted as Ako Saotome in Aikatsu Stars!, a part she calls a turning point, and has since voiced Yume Hinata in Mewkledreamy and Ai Miyashita in Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club and its game counterpart; she holds level 2 Kanji Kentei certification and names Ikue Otani and Rie Kugimiya as the performers she admires.
