The Entrance of Summer

Synopsis

July arrives, and with it, summer. After losing in the Interhigh qualifiers, the third-years retire, and Haru becomes the new captain of the girls' basketball team. Determined to make next year the one, Haru throws everything into club activities alongside the teammates, and Saku watches from a distance with dazzled eyes. Meanwhile, the school holds a send-off ceremony for the Interhigh qualifiers and the baseball team. The one giving the representative speech for the baseball team, which Saku belonged to until last year, is a familiar former teammate. Now on the side seeing the players off, Saku has a somewhat lonely look in their eyes.
