The Greatest, Final Comeback

Synopsis

The trump card Popp had been hiding was the Mirror of Shahal, entrusted to him by Sigma. With that mirror, which deflects any spell, Popp pulls off a counterattack against Vearn. Engulfed in flames, the Dark King falters. Dai did not let that once-in-a-lifetime chance slip away. Pouring everything into the instant his comrade opened up, Dai unleashes an all-out Avan Strash X (Cross). The blow severs the Dark King's left arm! Having finally broken the Demonic Guard of Heaven and Earth, Dai instantly drives his sword into Vearn's left chest and, throwing his own body into it, fires Raidein after Raidein. Giving Vearn no chance to counterattack, he chips away at his stamina little by little. Vearn seemed completely cornered. But he still had one secret strategy left: the Vearn Palace's ultimate weapon, the 'Pillar of Vearn.' Vearn drops the gigantic pillar—powerful enough to gouge out the earth—straight toward the Loroi Valley, where Flora and the others are. What's more, the pillar was rigged with a time-detonated Black Core. Its scale was enough to blow away the surface world, with only a few minutes left until the explosion. Hearing this, Dai realizes there is no longer anything he can do with his own power, and collapses on the spot…
