Maruko Wants to Know What's in the Trunk

Synopsis

Maruko finds an old trunk in the closet. All she can think of is 'The Tongue-Cut Sparrow' folk tale. Is there a ghost inside? She wants to open it, but the family ignores her. At school, Maruo-kun and Hanawa-kun suggest ancestors' treasure or mummies might be in there. Maruko gets even more curious. Learning even her parents don't know what's inside, today's the day she opens it.
