Debt and Shinemon's Judgment

Synopsis

Shinemon arrives at Ikkyū-san in distress: a neighboring temple faces financial ruin due to debt. A merchant named Kaneda plans to seize the temple's precious Buddhist statue as collateral. Devising a plan, Ikkyū-san decides that Ankokuji will assume all the debt and file a lawsuit. How does Ikkyū-san plan to win the case?
