The Great Baton Pass! Mashiro's Intense Relay

Synopsis

Preparations for the sports festival begin, and Sora is chosen as her class's representative in the relay. With Sora insisting that the baton pass is what matters most, Mashiro is brought into the lineup as well. Days of intense training under Sora and Tsubasa pass, and the day of the sports festival arrives. At last the relay begins. Receiving the baton and racing toward the anchor Sora, Mashiro takes a tumble on the curve. Even so, she springs back up, hands off the baton, and Sora flies past one runner after another to take first place at the finish line. Frustrated by her fall, Mashiro lets the tears come — but when Sora tells her that she never gave up, kept her eyes forward, and ran her race to deliver the best baton pass possible, her smile returns. Battamonda appears, but with the teamwork honed by their special training, they defeat the Ranborg. After the sports festival, Mashiro, realizing how much she loves running, promises Sora that they'll keep running together from now on.
