Sakura Mystery

Synopsis

Unexplained fires and accidents begin occurring across all of Hatsunejima. Yoshiyuki, along with Otohime who shares his unease, decides to investigate the cause using the winter break. But what they discover is only that despite incidents occurring daily, not a single life has been lost. Yoshiyuki's curiosity about the connection deepens. He asks Suginami, known for investigating mysterious phenomena, for help and borrows materials from his prized information network—the unofficial newspaper club. In secret documents spanning over half a century of Hatsunejima's history, he finds rumors rather than incidents, all concentrated fifty years ago.
