Synopsis

Yui, joining a soccer match as a substitute, shines alongside her classmate Wakana, who has already caught the attention of scouts. Wakana's lunchbox is always made by her father Mashiba, prepared with a carefully considered nutritional balance. On the way home from the match, Yui runs into Mashiba — only for him to stagger and collapse on the spot. The truth is that Mashiba is terrible at cooking, yet he was making Wakana's lunchbox at the expense of his sleep. To the worried Wakana, Yui passes on her grandmother's words, but Wakana has a different opinion. Disheartened, Yui frets about what one can do for those who aren't good at cooking. Right then, a Secretoru appears at a small restaurant in town. As Precious, transformed, fights alongside her friends, Secretoru insists "it has to be perfect." Those words, charged with real feeling, strike Precious in the heart. With the hint she has been given, Yui talks to Wakana in her own words and their hearts connect. Wakana, too, is able to tell Mashiba just how worried she had been. Watching Wakana share a meal happily with her father, Yui smiles, thinking that from now on, she also wants to find words of her own.
