Synopsis

Aono is called out by Ritsuko, who says she has a favor to ask. She wants to give her mother a performance of Bach's "Concerto for Two Violins," one of her mother's favorites, as a birthday present. Just like back in middle school, Ritsuko teaches Aono his studies, and Aono teaches Ritsuko the violin. On the day of the birthday, Aono's heart races at visiting a girl's room for the first time. Ritsuko's mother is all curiosity about Aono, whom she's meeting for the first time. The two begin to play. The sound of the violin held a special meaning for the relationship between Ritsuko and her mother.
