Synopsis

Clarence holds the injured Katrina close, weighed down by self-reproach. His words calling her "a woman precious to me," and the joy on his face at her gift, leave her feeling saved, and she weeps — and the next day the two head for the royal castle. Katrina had finally cut her lingering attachment to the Sashebal house, but the queen waiting for them sets a hard look on her face at how different Katrina is from the reports.
