Synopsis

Alone with Clarence in the garden, Katrina hears his feelings put plainly: "I love you." Even while uneasy about the gap in their stations, she throws herself into grueling training in dance and etiquette for the ball, determined to become a woman worthy of standing beside him. In the midst of it, word arrives that her removal from the Sashebal family register has finally been made official. Free at last from the chains of her past, Katrina tells Clarence how grateful she is to him for saving her.
