Synopsis

The Z Combination test between the "Shinkalion Z N700S Nozomi" and the "Zailiner HC85 Hida"—which Abuto built exactly to his father's blueprints—ends in failure. Anxious that he won't catch up to his father, Abuto is taken by Shima to where his father once worked: the "Railway Technical Research Institute," which spearheads railway innovation. Just then, a giant monster appears in Sekigahara. Waiting for the Shinkalion Z is a horde of enemies set up by Sōgyoku.
