Synopsis
Shin and the others arrive at a certain mountain in Kiso, Nagano. According to Abuto, the third Shinkalion driver candidate, Togakushi Taiju, is somewhere in these remote mountains. But Taiju isn't keen on becoming a driver—he's already turned down an offer once. Originally a Tokyoite, Taiju moved to a Kiso mountain for personal reasons. After a long climb, Shin and company find him already apprenticing in forestry work under his grandfather.
