A Career begins

Synopsis

Wakabayashi challenges Tsubasa: if you want to compete with me, dribble past ten Shuztetsu players and reach my goal. Tsubasa does so effortlessly, heading straight for Wakabayashi. Pride clashes with pride as the two tangle, and Wakabayashi crashes into the goalpost, bleeding. 'I'll accept your challenge at the inter-school competition!' Mistaking Tsubasa for a Shuztetsu student, Wakabayashi declares he'll admit defeat if Tsubasa scores just one goal. Bewildered, Tsubasa meets Roberto Hongo, a former Brazilian national team center forward, who has come to stay with the Ozora family. Roberto encourages the worried Tsubasa to choose his own path. What decision will Tsubasa make?
