Kick-Off for the Future

Synopsis

Nankatsu Elementary's new soccer team, featuring genius player Tsubasa as a new member and former Brazilian national team representative Roberto as coach, begins practice to finally defeat the previously unbeatable Shuztetsu. Roberto seems cheerful in front of others, but he came to Japan for another reason entirely. A retinal detachment injury from a match prevents him from continuing his playing career. Medical examination confirms this cruel truth—his active playing days are over. Roberto decides to entrust his dream to a 'beloved'—the beautiful game incarnate. That 'beloved' is Tsubasa, who rejoices at finally having a soccer club at his new school. His previous school had no soccer team, leaving him lonely. Now, with Tsubasa and Roberto's dreams intertwined, a new chapter begins.
