Synopsis

In the second half, Japan substitutes Wakabayashi for Wakashimazu. To defeat Schneider who reads the goalkeeper's movements and changes his shooting course, Wakabayashi closes his eyes and listens to the sound of the ball—a surprising move that works. "Now it's our turn to respond to Wakabayashi's guts!" Just as the players say, Tsubasa tries to push in an overhead kick from Hyuga's pass, but Schneider blocks it. However, the loose ball allows Tsubasa and Hyuga to unleash a twin shot and score! As the match nears its end, Misaki and Hyuga successively pass with overhead kicks, and finally Tsubasa himself scores with an overhead kick. Against the world's strongest team, Japan achieves a miraculous draw and wins the championship.
