The Girls and "Him"! Part 1 / The Girls and "Him"! Part 2

Synopsis

Part 1: Waking after a long time in his sarcophagus, Him is shocked to find New Townsville utterly changed. Sensing the white light, he calls back the black powder he scattered for intel. Meanwhile, Professor Utonium investigates the powder to figure out the new monster type. The powder moves at Him's call, the Powerpuff Z chase it but lose track, and visit a world art exhibition at the nearby museum. Him learns from the powder that the Z were born from the white light. To take revenge for being sealed by it long ago, he summons the Shepherd Ghost from a painting and sends it after the Z. Part 2: The International Science Lab grew out of the Edo School of Western Studies, founded by Hiraga Ken'nai. To defeat the monsters appearing in Edo, he created Ken'naiumu and gave it to three girls — the Spunky Edo Girls. Once they captured Him, his black light was sealed in a box coated with Ken'naiumu and tossed into the sea; his body was sealed in a sarcophagus beneath Ueno Shrine. Professor Utonium goes to Ueno Shrine, but it burned down ages ago and is now a museum. The Z defeat the Shepherd Ghost — and then Him appears, sensing the white light. His black aura is overwhelming, but Him, weak to cold, postpones the fight until it warms up and withdraws.
