Synopsis
A postcard arrives from Noriko with news from the doss-house. But Joe himself, since watching Carlos's fight, can't put his heart into the touring shows. Inaba and Kono talk it over: send Joe back to Tokyo. "There's no shame in someone wanting to climb out of the road circus." Wrapped in the friendship of the troupe, Joe's farewell match is held.
