A Bitter Decision
📅 June 13, 1971🕐 26 min
Synopsis
Maya proposes a volleyball match against Ishimatsu and the team. Ishimatsu accepts, but the other members have no interest. Facing a 6-to-1 disadvantage, Ishimatsu is thoroughly beaten. Kozue recognizes that Maya is serious when she sees her riding a bike blindfolded, and accepts her challenge. The clash of wills between Kozue, who can't play volleyball casually, and Maya, who can't resist a strong opponent, is remarkable.
