The Birth of a Miraculous Robot

Synopsis

Dr. Hell, who plots world domination, gives Baron Ashura the Bardos Staff to control Mechanical Beasts and the Submarine Fortress Saluud, ordering him to assassinate the interfering genius scientist, Professor Kabuto. Baron Ashura learns from his assistant, Lumi, that the Professor is staying at his villa. By the time the Professor's grandson, Koji, rushes to his aid, it's too late; the villa has already been blown up by Baron Ashura. Severely wounded and on the verge of death, Professor Kabuto entrusts Koji with his secret weapon, Mazinger Z, built to confront Dr. Hell.
