Synopsis

To counter Dr. Hell's flying Mechanical Beasts, Mazinger Z must be remodeled into a flying super robot. Carrying the blueprints, Professor Yumi flies to New York to meet Dr. Smith, an authority in rocket engineering. Learning of this, Dr. Hell has the Mechanical Beast Baras K9 attack the plane Professor Yumi is on and seizes the blueprints with the passengers' lives as collateral.
