Undefeatable Legend

Synopsis

The 16th Cyber Formula GPX of 2021 closes with Hayato's overwhelming victory. There is no longer any rival for the champion. Precisely because he wanted to fight Hayato, Kaga had stayed with Aoi, which was suspended over the previous year's 'Alzard incident,' biding his time. But the situation was graver and crueler than expected. Even with the suspension lifted, due to past results and the image damage from the incident, Aoi's management was on the brink. Kyoko, back as owner, tries to scrape together funds to develop a new machine, but the board, wary of the racing business itself, refuses to inject off-budget funds and declares that if they don't take the title this season, the team will withdraw. As rival teams rush to develop new machines, Aoi is forced to bring out the Experion from two years ago, whose development had been halted; but seeing the staff who endured for a year and Kaga gathered and brimming with fighting spirit, Kyoko can say nothing. And then, the 17th Cyber Formula WGPX opens. Allied with GIO, Sugo grows even stronger. Heinel's Sturmzender, who retired as a driver to focus on designing machines, also rolls out the astonishing new machine 'Spiegel' and transforms into an even more formidable rival. But Kaga, challenging with a two-year-old machine, suffers a crushing defeat even after entering the Zero Zone. Before Kaga, who ends round 1 in trouble, Nagumo appears.
