Synopsis
Despite Tsubasa being closely marked, Nitta chooses a one-touch falcon shot without traps. The ball slips past Morisaki straight into goal. Raw technique finally perfected. Confident Otomo now fears Tsubasa's mark less. But Tsubasa adopts 'attack as defense,' shifting from defensive play to full offensive formation. 'I'm simultaneously midfielder and ace striker!' Tsubasa's pride-filled middle-distance shot scores! Continuing the momentum, Tsubasa blocks Nitta's passes relentlessly. When Tsubasa fakes shooting and passes to Taki, Taki's diving header adds another point. Though Otomo fights hard, the whistle mercilessly signals match end. Final score: 3-1, Nankatsu advances to nationals.
