Synopsis
With high fever from match injuries and fatigue, Tsubasa is delirious, muttering "Schneider." This is the name of West Germany's star player whom Tsubasa and Hyuga met during their European tour three years prior. Why mention him now? Misaki, present at his bedside, explains: Tsubasa is recalling difficult soccer matches and training to overcome his current suffering. When Tsubasa and his friends arrived in Europe not long before, France's Pierre guided them to practice sites. There they encountered England's representative Steve, who displayed adult-level play.
