Synopsis
The Japanese team watches West Germany vs. Spain. Strong West Germany defeats Spain with Schneider's artistic superplay. Schneider displays a 150km/h bullet shot from both sides, leaving the Japanese team in awe. But Tsubasa feels great joy at the chance to face such a skilled player. After the match, Japan's team meets Schneider's group in the German locker room when Hyuga suddenly appears. Hyuga says he challenged Schneider to test his own strength. Unable to score even once against West Germany's goalkeeper Heffner, Hyuga feels he lost. But Tsubasa's words reignite Hyuga's fighting spirit: "We settle this in tomorrow's finals!"
