Unexpected visit

Synopsis

The finals between Japan and West Germany finally begin. Japan creates scoring chances through Tsubasa and Misaki's golden combination along with Matsuyama and Oda's partnership, but fails to score. Schneider, who blocked Misaki's shot, races toward Japan's goal. Wakashimazu blocks the first shot but Schneider fires again off the loose ball. The goalkeeper reads the course but Schneider instantly changes his pivot and shooting foot. Deceived, Wakashimazu concedes. Japan loses another goal by halftime. Resignation fills the air, but Tsubasa's voice reaches the team: "Never giving up is what we do!"
