Nao Saeki

Synopsis

Aono and Ritsuko enroll at Umimaku High School, home to the Orchestra Club. Aono recalls hearing from Mr. Takeda, his middle school teacher, that a boy named Nao Saeki—who shone at violin competitions—had apparently enrolled on a music recommendation. Then Aono reunites at the instrument shop with Yamada, a cellist he'd competed against several times since elementary school. Yamada, too, had enrolled at Umimaku with the Orchestra Club in mind. And what Yamada brought up was, again, Saeki. Amid all this, the first-years' trial club period begins.
