LOSE HIS WAY

Synopsis

Informed by Asuka that Hayato hasn't returned, the Sugo team begins a search. With the Japan Grand Prix final set for the afternoon and free practice beginning, Shinjo, Kaga, and Randoll, learning of the situation, also join the search. Meanwhile, Phil, overhearing Kaga and Shinjo's conversation, rushes to Nagumo. Sensing that Nagumo took Hayato away, Phil begins to doubt him for resorting even to kidnapping to win. Tormented as he recalls Hayato's words, Phil tells Kaga that Hayato is somewhere in the hotel. Informed by Kaga of Hayato's whereabouts, Randoll arranges dogs for the search. When hotel staff complain, he buys the entire hotel out of his own pocket and even deploys the V8's pups to search for Hayato's room. The ones who locate Hayato are Shirohachi and Phil. Phil bursts into the room and confirms it is Hayato. Together with Randoll, Kaga, and Asuka, who arrive a step later, they rescue Hayato. Hayato regains consciousness thanks to Randoll's personal physician, but, having been dosed with a drug, his body is left numb — far from being able to race. Even so, he had no intention of changing his resolve to race. And he faces the final alongside Kaga and Phil, who has returned to the Alzard's seat without being able to dispel his doubts. And at that very moment, Kyoko, having obtained proof regarding the Alzard and α-Neuro, heads to Nagumo together with the police.
