The Ant's Legs

Synopsis

Black Jack notices a boy in a wheelchair named Mitsuo eagerly reading 'A Record of the Disabled' at a coffee shop. Days later, Mitsuo begins his journey walking from Hiroshima to Osaka, a trip meant both for rehabilitation and as a personal challenge, despite his disabled legs. His progress is televised and shown on Black Jack's TV at home. That evening, Black Jack feels the urge to travel alone and leaves his house. When Mitsuo reaches a slope on the highway, Black Jack suddenly emerges from a parked car.
