The Monster Japanese Char of Shigure Valley

Synopsis

Shigure-dani — a valley filled with a sound like soft autumn rain ("shigure"). But no one knows where that sound comes from. After a giant "monster iwana" said to live in this stream, Sanpei and the others learn night fishing — using the kajika's habits — from a 50-year veteran of monster-iwana fishing. In the process, for some reason a fish Sanpei has hooked flees upstream, and as he chases it he uncovers the secret of the shigure sound.
