Japanese Char Autumn Red Dragonfly Fishing

Synopsis

Sanpei and his friends come to a river for "akane" fishing using an akanetonbo (red dragonfly) as bait. While catching akane, they meet a middle-aged man standing quietly by the water. They invite him to come fishing, and they're so absorbed they forget the time — but his expression carries a hint of sadness. This man, it turns out, has lost his business and his home, and is planning to disappear somewhere so as not to be a burden on his only daughter.
