The Great Japanese Char Transplant Operation

Synopsis

A plan is made to release iwana into the upper reaches of Fudou Falls, where there have so far been none. Sanpei and the other local fishing fanatics gather to release iwana they have caught from nearby streams — but the moment they try to carry the fish upstream, accidents keep happening, suspiciously. On top of that, a downpour at night causes flooding that washes the iwana away. The adults shrink back, calling it punishment for going against nature, but Sanpei has an idea forming in his head.
