Ice Hole Fishing for Smelt

Synopsis

Wakasagi ice-hole fishing — drilling holes through the iced-over lake to drop a line down. When a couple of young people drill new holes one after another all over the lake just because they aren't catching anything, Sanpei warns them other anglers could trip into the holes and get hurt — but they don't listen. Eventually, however, the two of them end up dropping their own feet into the very holes they made and falling in.
